As I read it I thought of my grandpa who died when I was young and how I loved the smell of his cologne on his shirt and how iconic his wrist watch was to me.

I was intrigued with every word and the amazing symbology of the tale, such as the multi-storeyed car park and going up to the top level, the holiday clothes, etc.

Of course there is no doubt in my mind that you did indeed visit with your father's spirit, as he wished to give you comfort and relief, which he did. And equally as amazing, you accepted the experience as the gift it was and you made the very most of it.
