The child and family unit doesn't matter... It can be fixed!

That's the attitude... It can be fixed.

Once the child is returned home, it can be fixed. The parent/s can get lots of lovely counseling for themselves and their child. The child can have years of therapy and other medical help.

It's all good!

More often than not the family ends up worse off emotionally and physically than they ever were before the child was taken.

And it's up to the parent/s to put all the pieces of the puzzle back together and support their child and recover from all the impact it's caused... While still maintaining any other children, running a household, holding down a job and trying to remain sane.
