The tale today, concerns my sister, who had an amusing experience in a 'stately' home.

My sister (C) once went with her husband to visit a large stately home in UK. The place was jam packed with paintings and art works which she was eager to view.

At some point as they meandered through the many rooms, they parted to view different things.

As C was looking intently at a booklet, she felt someone take her arm and tug it gently. Presuming it was her husband, she said 'ok' and continued to glance at the booklet without looking around and allowed herself to be led into a large hall and came to a stop at a painting.

C then looked up at the painting and then turned to where she thought her husband was standing and started to say,"why have you led me here"? Her husband was not in sight, she was alone in the hall. She quickly scanned the room, but there was no-one.

Feeling slightly perplexed, she walked the way back she had been led and found her husband still looking in the previous room.
Before she could say anything, he said "Where did you go to"?
" I thought we just walked into the hall over there", she said pointing in the direction. "We"? he said. "I did not go anywhere, I just saw you walking out of this room alone".

So, who or what was guiding my sister into the hall questionmark
