I'm sorry but I will have to disagree with you on this one. I don't see a problem with introducing laws that stop people from bashing ANYONE. CSO's are people too, and regardless of what their job is they don't deserve to be bashed. They have a job to do, plain and simple and while the job that they do isn't always as it should be (ie corrupt workers and lies) they still don't deserve to be bashed. It's not okay for police to be bashed, it's not okay for community members to be bashed and as far as I'm concerned it's not okay for CSO's to be bashed either. And why are CSO's being bashed? Well one possible reason is because they are working in such an emotionally charged arena and what you usually find is that parents who have done the wrong thing and are violent people are the ones who attack CSO's.
